All-American Company MyPillow Begins Making Medical Masks to Combat Coronavirus

The all-American company MyPillow has started making medical masks to help do their part in combating the coronavirus outbreak.

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell, a strong supporter of President Donald Trump, posted a video explaining that the company has already started producing masks and expects they will soon be able to pump out as many as 40,000 per day.

“Hello everyone, we have a great announcement to make at MyPillow, we’ve been working on it for a couple weeks now, we now have face masks that we are making for hospitals around the country,” Lindell said in Facebook video. “We’re going to get a lot of our people, start getting them back to work.”

All of MyPillow’s products are produced at their factory in Minnesota.

Lindell added that they’re “going to hopefully be producing between 8 and 10,000 right out of the gate,” but believes that with time they will be able to make 40,000 a day.

“We have to work hard on getting elastic, and there’s different regulations for different hospitals,”Lindell noted, “We’re just excited to help out, and we’re all going to get through this.”

The masks will be provided to hospitals and not be available for purchase by the general public.
