NBC Reporter Says Fans Were Chanting ‘Lets Go Brandon’ After ‘F**k Joe Biden’ Chant Erupts At NASCAR Event

During a post-race interview at Talladega Superspeedway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, hundreds of spectators erupted into a “F*** Joe Biden” chant. A reporter for NBC Sports reported that the crowd was chanting “Let’s go Brandon” in reference to event winner Brandon Brown. On NBC’s video feed, the crowd can clearly be heard chanting the former as opposed to “let’s go Brandon.”

“F**k Joe Biden” chants have become quite popular at sporting events, particularly college football games. Student sections from stadiums across the country broke into chants during the opening week of the college football season, with many being picked up on national broadcasts. The chants have continued as the NCAA football season drags on. Pro sporting events have also seen anti-Biden chants break out. Mets and Yankees fans were able to unite over the new pastime following a subway series game last month.

The chants have also popped up at other events and rallies, particularly those in opposition to vaccine mandates and other COVID-related restrictions. A large crowd chanted “F**k Joe Biden” at a medical freedom rally in New York last month.
