The FDA finally recognizes that Americans should treat COVID like the flu.
The FDA finally sees that COVID is similar to the flu, something we reported when COVID first came out. In March 2020 we reported that COVID was likely more similar to the flu than it was a major pandemic like the Spanish flu. By looking at the numbers, we could tell that COVID was not as serious as first stated by the WHO which claimed the China coronavirus had a mortality rate of 3.4%.
The Daily caller reported this past week on the FDA’s change of heart admitting that COVID-19 should be treated like the flu.

WeLoveTrump.com reported:
FDA Commissioner Robert Califf, Principal Deputy Commissioner Janet Woodcock and the agency’s top vaccine official, Dr. Peter Marks, wrote that COVID-19 will be in circulation for the foreseeable future and must be accepted as another common virus in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds in February came to the decision to treat COVID-19 the same as the flu.
Now the rest of the country may be like Iowa. The FDA appears to be leaning in this direction.
From @US_FDA officials in @JAMA_current:
