Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee announced Tuesday that she tested positive for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated and receiving booster shots.
“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee tested positive for COVID,” her official Twitter account noted on Tuesday. “She is fully vaccinated and has received her boosters.”
Evidently, the multiple jabs of COVID-19 inoculation did nothing to immunize the Texas Democrat from contracting of the virus nor did it stop Jackson from urging the public to get more shots.
Statement: Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee tested positive for COVID. She is fully vaccinated and has received her boosters. She encourages everyone to get tested and fully vaccinated along with their booster shots. She looks forward to a full and complete recovery.

While the Biden administration and federal government continue to claim COVID-19 is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” COVID shots are killing more Americans than any other vaccine in history.
According to the Center for Disease Control’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, 21,889 Americans died after receiving the COVID vaccine in 2021.
Additionally, the number of COVID vaccine-related deaths continues to climb.
To date, 6,747 Americans have died after receiving the BioNTech mRNA shot in 2022. Prior to the administration of COVID vaccines in 2020, just 602 people died after getting vaccinated.
According to the CDC, 77.8 percent of the U.S. population has received at least one dose, but the number of Americans dying from COVID also continues to climb.
Over one million Americans have now reportedly died from COVID-19.
More people died from COVID-19 in the United States than in any other developed nation worldwide under CDC protocols.
