Disgraced former ‘Empire’ star, Jussie Smollett, is alleged to have “had a sexual relationship” with one of his alleged hoax attacker “and visited a Chicago bathhouse together on multiple occasions,” according to The Daily Mail.

An anonymous source told Page Six that the TV personality and one of the famed “Nigerian brothers,” Ambimbola “Abel” Osundairo, employed to carry out the high-profile “This is MAGA country” assault on the actor, were actually lovers.

The insider said, “They used to party together and he had a sexual relationship with [Abel]. They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out. There should be a record [of their visits].”

Smollett, 37, who faces felony disorder conduct charges–for the hoax attack where he claimed that two men shouting homophobic and racist slurs, including the N-word and f****t, while pouring bleach and tying a noose around him–may have the records of his visits to the bathhouse with Abel may be subpoenaed for the upcoming trial.

Smollett’s lawyers, Tina Glandian and Mark Geragos were sued for defamation last year following an interview on ‘Good Morning America’ where it was insinuated that the brothers were gay, as the claim could put the brothers’ family in Nigeria at risk, as homosexuality remains criminalized in the West African country.

Additionally, in September, Smollett’s lawyers argued that police worked too hard on the case as it was dropped by the state’s attorney, according to a report.

Although the defamation suit against the lawyers was dismissed last month, Smollett is still fighting against the claim that the brothers were paid to carry out the hoax attack, saying that the $3,500 paid upfront were for performance-enhancing drugs instead of staging the fake assault.

Smollett still claims his innocence, despite public opinion being skewed against the actor.
