True The Vote Activists Will Be Arrested by U.S. Marshalls if They Do Not Disclose Their Source

In the case of Konnech Inc. v. True The Vote Inc. (4:22-CV-03096), Greg Phillips of True The Vote (TTV) revealed in a post on Truth Social that he and Catherine Engelbrecht will be arrested by United States Marshals if they do not reveal the names of their confidential sources in court by Monday morning.

“Doing the right isn’t always easy but it’s always right. We were held in contempt of court because we refused to burn a confidential informant or our researchers. We go to jail on Monday unless we comply,” Phillips said.

Senior United States District Judge Kenneth Michael Hoyt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas is the presiding judge over the case.

A reporter who was in the courtroom, Ivory Hecker, stated that the judge, who was appointed by Reagan, seemed to be biased against TTV and that Hoyt gave TTV a deadline of Monday at 9:00 am.

“The judge did not like these guys from the start. The judge had an attitude towards True The Vote and Gregg Phillips,” Hecker said. The judge was very combative with the attorneys, shouting over them, interrupting them. It was nuts.”

The judge inquired about a January 2021 meeting between Phillips and a hacker. The man is now in hiding after his name was released in court on Thursday.

The Judge demanded to know the name of every single person who has seen the data related to the Konnech China server connection.

“We spoke truth today in court. I won’t elaborate on it any further because you’ve no doubt seen the news. No matter what happens to us, do not take your eyes off midterms – stay engaged, continue to encourage people to vote, serve where you can. And keep the faith. Always. We will keep you posted as we are able. Ever onward,” Catherine Engelbrecht said in a Truth Social post on Friday.

“Konnech’s lawyers ridiculed and mocked Catherine for describing our teams as patriots. She answered with confidence and pride in her Country. She didn’t buckle. She stood against the abuse and the oppressors. I’m so proud to be her friend, her colleague, and her brother in Christ,” Phillips said on Friday in a statement on Truth Social.

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Operations Officer, Sam Faddis, who served in the Near East and South Asia, stated that “something is very wrong here,” in his assessment of the Konnech situation.

The investigation of Konnech needs to run its course. We need to get to the bottom of this and know for sure what did and did not happen.

The first step in that process is making sure that the source of the information on Konnech is protected. There are procedures for handling this kind of situation. They are used regularly in criminal prosecutions involving confidential informants. Those procedures do not involve outing those informants in open court. Something is very wrong here. Two brave individuals have come forward at great risk to themselves to expose what they may prove to be a grave national security threat. Now, inexplicably, our ‘justice’ system seems laser-focused on making sure they are the only one who will go to jail.

“We appreciate so much the love and support you have shared with us. Now, turn the next 10 days into the greatest get out the vote effort in American history. Crush them at the polls. VOTE.” Phillips said in a Truth Social post on Saturday night.
