WATCH: Dem NYC Election Worker Admits He Signed up for Job as ‘Republican’ Affidavit Inspector

Last Updated on November 10, 2022

An undercover Project Veritas reporter recorded a conversation with a New York City election worker who admitted to voting Democrat despite signing up for a Republican position at a polling place. “If I wanted to work and change the system, from [the inside], I had to be a Republican first,” the election worker said a polling location in the Bronx. He went on to claim that there are several people just like him all over New York.

Donald Skinner Sr. said he registered as a Republican even though he votes Democrat. He did this because it was easier to get the job that way, he told the undercover Project Veritas journalist. According to his official title, Skinner Sr. was there as a “Republican” affidavit inspector.

“Are people actually voting for Zeldin here?” the undercover reporter asked. Some are, not all. There are a few Republicans who come around,” Skinner replied.

“What are we doing about that?” the journalist followed up. “Nothing…I mean, I’m a Republican but I vote Democrat,” Skinner Sr. said. “In order for me to work [at this polling location], I had to be a Republican.”

When asked why, the “Republican” affidavit inspector said, “Because they [Republicans] were the only ones that were giving out the [poll worker] jobs at the time…so if I wanted to go out there and change the system, from the inside, I had to be a Republican.”

“Yo… is there a-lot of people like that?” the deceptive New York City election worker was then asked. “Yes. All over New York,” he replied.
