Notice in the chart above that the Fed never had to increase rates under President Trump. Something it didn’t come close to doing under Obama. Trump’s economy was so good it could take it.
GW Bush’s Presidency couldn’t handle the Fed’s rate increases that destroyed Americans’ mortgages with balloons and led to the 2008-2009 recession.
This time the Fed’s actions are excessive and scary. Biden’s policies are killing the economy.
