1 for 3: McCarthy Announces Biden Impeachment Inquiry

Last Updated on September 12, 2023

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the House GOP will be opening an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. Matt Gaetz has been leading the charge demanding McCarthy: impeach Biden, release the J6 tapes, and defund the Trump witch hunts. If McCarthy fails to do all three, Gaetz has singled he is willing to put forth a motion to vacate the chair.

McCarthy said, “House Republicans have discovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct. These allegations paint a culture of corruption.” McCarthy went on to say, “Through our investigations, we have uncovered President Biden did lie to the American people about his own knowledge on his family’s foreign business dealings. ”

McCarthy made this announcement after he faced growing backlash from his members and GOP voters over the House’s failures to do anything of substance.

Speaker McCarthy’s leadership has been a failure so far. Under McCarthy’s watch, The House voted to raise the debt ceiling last June without defunding the Trump witch hunts and has failed to release the J6 tapes as promised.

Congressman Matt Gaetz has promised to hold McCarthy accountable if he fails to impeach Biden, release the J6 tapes, and defund the Trump witch hunts.

In an exclusive, Gaetz told National File, “It’s productive that McCarthy has signaled a change in position on the J6 tapes after my social media post, But we will measure success by actions, not promises. And there is much more to do, This may be moving the ball one yard. Ninety-nine to go.”

So far, McCarthy is 1 for 3. Stay with National File as the critical 2023 fall session of Congress kicks off.
