Impeach: Gaetz Reveals Biden Pay for Play Deal

Last Updated on September 21, 2023

Matt Gaetz revealed at Wednesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing that a Hunter Biden art customer recently received a prestigious position in the Biden Administration. Many are wondering what’s holding Speaker McCarthy up from subpoenaing Hunter Biden and bringing a Biden impeachment vote to the floor. Gaetz has promised to vacate the chair if McCarthy fails to impeach Biden.

Gaetz said during the House Judiciary Committee hearing, ” So Hunter Biden is selling art to pay for his $15,000 a month rent in Malibu. How can you guarantee that the people buying aren’t do so to gain favor with the president? Someone who bought Hunter Biden’s art ended up with a prestigious appointment to a federal position. Doesn’t it look weird that he [Hunter Biden] has become an immediate success in the art world?”

Following this revelation, questions began to arise as to why Speaker McCarthy had not yet subpoenaed Hunter Biden. In a post on X, Gaetz called out McCarthy’s failure to subpoena Hunter writing, “@SpeakerMcCarthy, after eight months of inaction, I have taken the liberty of drafting a subpoena to Hunter Biden. It simply requires your date and signature. Millions of Americans are wondering if you’re serious.”

Hunter Biden selling artwork for presidential access is clearly an impeachable offense. It’s impossible for Joe Biden to make the argument that he did not know what Hunter was up to. An impeachment inquiry is no longer necessary, the House GOP must now open impeachment proceedings. During Trump’s first impeachment, the Democrats’ inquiry lasted less than a month before impeachment proceedings began. Biden’s impeachment inquiry will soon be running longer than Trump’s and unlike Trump, Biden actually abused his power.

Matt Gaetz has promised to vacate the chair if Speaker McCarthy fails to impeach Biden, defund the Biden DOJ’s witch hunts against Trump, and release the J6 tapes. The ball is now in McCarthy’s court.
