The recent case of a Michigan man filming the unprovoked, merciless beating of an elderly care home facility patient before stealing his credit cards left a sour taste in the mouths of many.
A young man, allegedly identified as twenty-one-year-old Jaden Hayden from Ypsilanti, Michigan, bloodies his elderly roommate in two shocking videos before telling staff he had fallen out of his bed.
The criminal genius uploaded the footage of his bruising abuse onto social media, where it went viral and was forwarded to the relevant police departments who have slapped the aspiring boxer with two assault charges, larceny, and theft charges after it was further revealed that he had stolen the defenseless man’s credit cards.
The young man’s father has come forward to tell the press that his son had been suffering from mental problems prior to the assault and he should not have been kept in that facility.
Following the brutal assault, which quickly became the weekend’s top story, several other bits of footage showing elderly patients suffering extensive mistreatment after being entrusted to the care of their respective nursing homes.
The conservative blog, The Red Elephants, pieced together a compilation of different excerpts containing harrowing images, potentially shattering the trust many people may have towards these facilities to look after their loved ones in their golden years.
Share this compilation. Hopefully, if it reaches someone who is planning on placing their parents in a care facility/nursing home, they may change their minds.https://t.co/5ZVPw2oUNl pic.twitter.com/jOAFbHtsZo

Although the senior attacked by Jaden Hayden required medical treatment, some patients were not as lucky–as some of them suffered permanent injuries or even death.
The Red Elephants go onto talk about a case from last year, where a black woman repeatedly punched a 95-year-old dementia patient to the point where he lost an eye.
Wakeisha Culler, 53, brutally assaulted the helpless man at a Virginia care home. According to WTVR, “she was arrested and charged with abuse and neglect of incapacitated adults and terminated from her job at the assisted living facility.”
Earlier this year, in another shocking event, a 73-year-old man was beaten to death by his 37-year-old roommate at a Long Beach care home.
