Trump Joins TikTok, Surpasses Joe Biden’s Following in Less Than 24 Hours

Former president made the announcement during UFC 302.

Former President Donald Trump made a comeback on the social media platform TikTok on Saturday, quickly going viral and surpassing Joe Biden’s follower count.

Trump’s reemergence on TikTok was marked by a short clip featuring UFC President Dana White announcing Trump was back on the platform.

Trump expressed his honor in response, followed by a montage of the Republican presidential contender greeting fans at the arena during the UFC 302 event.

To end the video, Trump remarked, “That was a good walk-on, right?”

The clip garnered over 4 million views in just over 6 hours.

Trump also amassed over 2 million followers less than 24 hours after posting the clip.

By contrast, the Biden campaign has been on the app for months and only has 335K followers.

The move is a significant shift given Trump had previously called for the app’s ban over its association with Communist China.
