As the government’s “15 Days to Slow the Spread” continues, and the country’s hospitals brace to be overwhelmed by coronavirus patients as we have seen in Europe and Asia, MyPillow has announced that it will make masks for hospitals throughout the crisis.
In a video posted to Facebook, MyPillow founder Mike Lindell posted a video update, with mask in hand, announcing that the company has already begun production of hospital masks.
“Hello everyone, we have a great announcement to make at MyPillow, we’ve been working on it for a couple weeks now, we now have face masks that we are making for hospitals around the country,” said Lindell. “We’re going to get a lot of our people, start getting them back to work,”
He added, “We’re going to hopefully be producing between 8 and 10,000 right out of the gate.”
Lindell noted that the process to begin making the face masks required overcoming regulatory hurdles, and employees noted that it was Lindell’s idea to begin producing them.
“We have to work hard on getting elastic, and there’s different regulations for different hospitals,”Lindell noted, “We’re just excited to help out, and we’re all going to get through this.”
The MyPillow founder also suggested that, with time, his factories could produce as many as 40,000 face masks per day during the pandemic.

Lindell, a frequent guest on Fox News and other conservative programs, noted his support for President Donald Trump and his job performance through the pandemic.
“We have a great administration, a great president, the things we’re doing, that he’s doing right now, is saving lives.”
He added, “We worked with the adminsitration, the coalition they have, but we’re going right directly to the hospitals, which they told us we should do, because it saves time.”
Lindell also stressed that he is looking forward to the day the country can return to normal after the pandemic subsides, and that the increased awareness of the importance of good hygiene will likely have a lasting effect.
“When we come out the other side, all these safety precautions, we’re going to be more proactive,” said Lindell.
“I’m looking forward to the day we get through all this and get back to our normal lives.”
MyPillow is excited to announce that we are now manufacturing face masks for hospitals across the country!
