Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar has confirmed that ballots not postmarked, but received by 5:00 PM on the evening of November 6th – a full three days after Election Day – will be counted.
Speaking to members of the media at a Wednesday morning press conference, Secretary Boockvar confirmed that all ballots received by election officials, with or without a postmark, will be counted.
“We’ve all had that situation where you get a letter and it’s not postmarked,” Boockvar told reporters.
“Under the current Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision, which is currently the law, yes, as long as there’s no affirmative evidence that it was postmarked after November 3rd, as long as it’s received by November 6th at 5:00 PM it will be counted.”
At current count, President Trump has already surpassed his 2016 vote total in Pennsylvania, leading Joe Biden by over 8 points. Officials say that they have so far received 81% of mail-in ballots sent to voters and, according to a report from the Philadelphia Inquirer, outstanding ballots will “almost certainly heavily favor Joe Biden.”
As previously reported by National File, voting irregularities combined with accusations of blatant election meddling and fraud spearheaded by Democrat officials have plagued the Pennsylvania election process.
In an October tweet, a Pennsylvania election official named Wendy Leigh, who goes by the moniker of “SnarkyAntifaNun,” vowed to “end the GOP permanently.”
“She attached a meme image of deceased leftist Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. “We are ruthless now,” the meme said, apparently making a double entendre regarding Ruth’s death and the scorched earth strategy that the left now plans to employ. Act accordingly.’”
Closer to Election Day, serious problems continued to plague the state’s mail-in voting system, with 75% of mail-in ballots in heavily Republican Butler County being unaccounted for, leaving nearly one-fifth of voters scrambling to make their voice heard.
According to the Trump campaign, the President expects to win Pennsylvania by a margin of 40,000 votes, helping to complete his path to 270 Electoral College votes alongside Arizona and Michigan. Sounding the alarm on social media, the President found himself once again censored by big tech as he attempted to sound the alarm on Democrat-led election meddling.
