The father of 14-year-old Jupiter Paulsen revealed that his daughter was “beaten, strangled, and stabbed” 25 times in what is described as a “random” attack that occurred as the teen was skateboarding to her mother’s house on June 4, 2021.
Local media reports that the 14-year-old was stabbed 25 times, and police responded on June 4 “just before 7 a.m.” to reports of “a bloody, unconscious female at a strip mall” in Fargo, North Dakota. “Investigators said a witness saw a man near the scene wearing a white t-shirt with blood stains on it,” but were not able to immediately apprehend the suspect.
Eventually, police located and arrested 23-year-old Arthur Prince Kollie and charged him with attempted murder. Kollie appears to be homeless, and according to police, “has no permanent address.” No motive was released by the media or by the Paulsen’s father, Robert Paulsen.
On a GoFundMe originally created to raise funds to pay for the 14-year-old’s recover, Robert Paulsen revealed that doctors do not expect his daughter to survive the assault. “We just got word from the doctor today that our baby girl is too far gone and there isn’t anything they can do. Just to gather family and say our goodbyes,” wrote Paulsen. “This is a very dark moment in our lives. Thank you for all the prayers, shares, and donations.”

At the time of publication, the GoFundMe had raised over $27,000 from 620 donors. Paulsen’s father explained that doctors initially monitored “her brain activity since she was deprived oxygen to her brain” during the attack. “All donations, shares, and prayer are greatly appreciated and will all be going towards my daughter’s needs. Thank you for your time as we get through these difficult times,” he originally wrote. Paulsen passed away from the injuries she sustained during the attack this morning.
At the behest of Matt Walsh and The Daily Wire, conservatives recently donated in excess of $100,000 to the grandmother of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after Ocasio-Cortez accused President Donald Trump of stalling payments to residents of Puerto Rico whose homes were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Maria. Ocasio-Cortez’s grandmother ultimately declined the funds, which were then returned to the donors.
