New York Attorney General Letitta James has completed her independent investigation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and has determined that he sexually harassed both current and former employees with actions ranging from inappropriate comments to “groping, kissing, hugging” and other unwanted physical advances.
In a press conference held earlier today, James declared that “Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, and in doing so violated federal and state law.” She added, “Specifically, the investigation found that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed current and former New York State employees by engaging in unwelcome and non consensual touching, and making numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that created a hostile work environment for women.” (READ MORE: New York’s De Blasio Now Requires Vaccine Passports To Go Inside Buildings)

She continued to say that evidence “revealed a deeply disturbing yet clear picture: Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees, in violation of both federal and state laws” and that “The independent investigation found that Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, many of whom were young women, by engaging in unwanted groping, kisses, hugging, and by making inappropriate comments.” (READ MORE: Governor Andrew Cuomo Says Unvaccinated Citizens Will Be ‘Put’ In Vehicles And Driven To Vaccination Sites)
Worse, James says that “Further, the governor and his senior team took actions to retaliate against at least one former employee for coming forward with her story, her truth. Gov. Cuomo’s administration fostered a toxic workplace, and enabled harassment, and created a hostile work environment, where staffers did not feel comfortable coming forward with complaints about sexual harassment due to a climate of fear.” James released a full report on the New York Attorney General website.

Earlier this year, Cuomo apologized profusely over the harassment allegations, but refused to acknowledge that he did anything wrong, and instead apologized for making women feel uncomfortable. At the time, he refused to resign, and remained totally silent about his nursing home scandal.
Many believe the investigation into Cuomo’s alleged inappropriate sexual behavior began as an attempt to distract from the nursing home scandal, in which Cuomo’s decision to send otherwise healthy individuals to nursing homes filled with vulnerable elderly people allegedly killed many elderly people who were unable to recover from the COVID-19 virus they contracted as a direct result of Cuomo placing them in close proximity with those already sick.
