VIDEO: Rep. Rashida Tlaib Melts Down Over Texas Abortion Law, Sobs Hysterically And Screams About George Floyd

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) appeared to throw a fit over the abortion laws recently passed in Texas during a session of the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday, alternating between between sobbing and screaming in equal measure as she invoked George Floyd, Black Lives matter and other issues that did not even have a tangential relationship to the discussion at hand.

“You know, I grew up in the most beautiful, blackest city in the country where 85% of the city of Detroit is black and it’s beautiful and black mothers are the one who told my mother to raise her voice  when she had that heavy immigrant like, accent, at parent meetings,” Tlaib rambled. “And, you know, I’m sitting here listening to people pretending disingenuinely [sic] honestly that they care about the lives of my black neighbors.”

Tears immediately welled up in Tlaib’s eyes and her face became flushed with emotion as she raged, “I always get emotional about this because i cannot believe my colleagues, who didn’t vote for the George Floyd Justice For Policing Act, are talking about the fact that Planned Parenthood, which I believe is literally one of the only healthcare places and institutions like in cities like mine.”

Tlaib went on to ask aggressive questions to a witness, only to shrilly cut her off when she began to respond, yelling “Yeah well, the people that voted for the bill that you are championing are people that would actually leave them completely homeless and with no safeguards at all. I want you to believe me when I say that to you. Because Black Lives Matter should be very much at the forefront of every policy that we ever do in this country.”

The Michigan representative went on to yell about unrelated topics for several more minutes.
