White House press secretary Jen Psaki deflected questions about the Biden regime’s handling of soaring gas prices and abysmal jobs reports by invoking COVID-19, appearing to insinuate that the president’s failing on the former issues were of little consequence because COVID “continues to be front and center on the minds of the American people.”
“And there are several challenges facing the White House right now, not just getting Democrats united on the president’s domestic agenda but also skyrocketing gas prices, a bad jobs report last week, we’ve seen several issues including the President’s poll numbers seem to be reflecting that, so how is he viewing all of these challenges that are facing the White House right now?” a reporter asked Psaki.
Psaki replied, “Well he, one has an incredible team that’s working on all these issues at one time uh and, his view is his responsibilities to continue to forge ahead, every day, and work to address the challenges the American people are facing.”

“You didn’t mention COVID, but that continues to be front and center on the minds of the American people,” Psaki snapped. “Uh, people want to return back to a version of normal. Uh, they want to to go back to, uh, knowing that their kids are safe at school, that they can go to their workplaces, that uh, they don’t have to fear uh, for their uh safety uh, in communities.”
Last week, President Biden received the lowest job approval rating of his term to date according to a poll by Quinnipiac University:
A new Quinnipiac University spells out more bad news for Democrat president Joe Biden, who already suffers from flagging approval ratings. In the new poll, less than half of Americans approved of his handling of the coronavirus, the situation at the U.S.-Mexican, foreign policy, his personal competence and his integrity.
“President Joe Biden receives a negative 38 – 53 percent job approval rating, the lowest score he’s received from the American people on his job performance since taking office, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea- ack) University national poll of adults released today,” Quinnipiac reported.
