VIDEO: WNBA Championship Team ‘Parade’ Rolls Through Empty Streets Because Barely Anyone Showed Up

Video footage from Chicago shows a championship parade for the Women’s National Basketball Association team the Chicago Sky falling resoundingly flat as turnout appeared to consist of a dozen or so halfheartedly cheering fans as the parade rolled through mostly deserted streets.

Despite claims from feminist and Black Lives Matter activists that female sports team players deserve proportional salaries to their male counterparts, Tuesday’s parade appeared to show a complete lack of support for female sports teams among the general population.

Many WNBA players were elevated by corporate media during the violent 2020 Black Lives Matter riots for their vocal support of deceased felons and mass looters. Unfortunately for the league, interest in watching the WNBA did not rise, and the poor turnout for Tuesday’s parade appears to show that no amount of corporate pandering or ESPN screentime will raise the sport’s flagging ratings.
