BREAKING: CNN Suspends Chris Cuomo Indefinitely For Alleged Meddling On Behalf Of Ex-Governor Brother Andrew Cuomo

Left-wing media corporation CNN has suspended host Chris Cuomo indefinitely and pending “further evaluation” following reports from the New York Attorney General’s office that indicate Cuomo allegedly sought out information on the people accusing his brother Andrew – then-governor of New York – of sexual harassment.

“The New York Attorney General’s Office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense,” CNN said in a statement. “The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions. When Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second. however, these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation.”

Though Cuomo has been placed on suspension, the company has a history of welcoming back employees who engage in misconduct after media buzz around the incidents has died down. CNN welcomed back contributor Jeffrey Toobin after he was caught vigorously masturbating on a Zoom call in front of female coworkers:

Former New Yorker employee and “Senior Legal Analyst” Jeffrey Toobin returned to the Cable News Network after an extended leave that commenced when he was caught vigorously masturbating on a work-related Zoom call. In his first statements on CNN since the incident, Toobin expressed regret that he had been caught acting inappropriately, but did not appear remorseful for his conduct, and chose instead to complain about how hard his life had become post-Zoom masturbation.
“It was something that was inexplicable to me, I think one point, I wouldn’t exactly say in my defense because nothing is really in my defense, I didn’t think I was on the call,” Toobin insisted. “I didn’t think other people could see me.” The “senior legal analyst” added, “I thought that I had turned off the Zoom call. Now, that’s not a defense. This was deeply moronic and indefensible. But I mean, that is part of the story.”
