VIDEO: Kamala Aide Tries To End Interview After Charlamagne Tha God Asks Who Really Runs White House

Kamala Harris’s interview with rapper and radio host Charlamagne Tha God nearly ended early after he asked the vice president who truly holds power in Washington, D.C., resulting in Harris political strategist Symone Sanders attempting to cut the exchange before Harris could respond.

The interaction came after Democrats grew incensed that Joe Manchin would not vote for Joe Biden’s divisive Build Back Better agenda, with the rapper asking Kamala if Democrat Sen. Manchin is truly in control of the country after his vote helped Republicans defeat Biden’s legislation.

“I wanna know who the real president of this country is,” inquired the rapper, “Joe Biden or Joe Manchin.”

“We’ve got to wrap,” said Sanders. “I’m sorry, I interrupted,” she added, interrupting repeatedly, before suggesting that Harris could not hear the audio feed.

Eventually, Harris acknowledged what Charlamagne identified as a ruse from Sanders, and answered his question.

“Come on, Charlamagne, it’s Joe Biden.” She complained, “And don’t start talking like a Republican about asking whether or not he’s president.”

“And it’s Joe Biden and I’m vice president and my name is Kamala Harris,” she said in a high pitched voice, finger wagging at the camera.

While the rapper and radio host’s question struck at the heart of one of the Biden regime’s most glaring failures, the question of power in the Biden White House has been the subject of some debate.

Polls continue to show that the majority of Republicans do not believe Joe Biden won the election fairly, and believe instead that President Donald Trump should have been declared the winner. As recently as September, that number was still near 60%.

Even those who claim Biden’s 2020 win to be beyond reproach may have questions about who wields the reigns of power in Washington, D.C.

Earlier this year, conservative commentator and prime time host Tucker Carlson declared that nobody involved in government within that city believes Biden is making decisions in the same executive capacity seen in other presidents, and said he will no longer refer to the current administration as “the Biden administration” as a result.

“Increasingly, it seems like Kamala Harris is running things,” noted Carlson in July. “If you believe in democracy, this is a problem. No large group of people has ever wanted to put Harris in control of the country.”

Carlson added, “Biden’s senility means an awful lot of power for Kamala Harris. “
