A Vermont high school has banned its girls’ volleyball team from their own locker room after the girls objected to sharing the changing facility with a male who has proclaimed womanhood and is playing on the girls’ team. The trans student has been accused of harassment and making “inappropriate comments” to female members of the team while they were getting changed.
Members of the Randolph Union High School girls’ volleyball team have been kicked out of their own locker room after they spoke up about the indecencies of being made to share that space with a biological male. The male, who claims to be a woman, has been allowed to join the girls’ volleyball team and, apparently, take over their locker room under Vermont’s codification of far-left gender and LGBT ideology.
After being made to undress in front of a young male in the school locker room, the female members of the team said they felt uncomfortable with the situation. Some of the young ladies reported that the transgender student had made “inappropriate comments” to them in the locker room.
Nevertheless, under Vermont’s far-left LGBT laws, the girls were the ones who were punished and banned from their own locker room.
In an email to families, addressing the locker room ban and citing the state’s radical laws on childhood transgenderism, administrators claimed that the school has “plenty of space where students who feel uncomfortable with the laws may change in privacy.”
Blake Allen, a female member of the Randolph Union girls’ volleyball team, spoke to the local media about the situation, describing how the actual girls on the team are the ones being punished for not wanting to share a locker room with a teenage boy. She was encouraged to speak to the press by her mother, Allen said, in hopes that she could help make a change.
“They want all the girls who feel uncomfortable – so pretty much 10 girls – to get changed in a single-stall bathroom, which would take over 30 minutes,” said Allen. “Where, if one person got changed separately, it would take a minute, like no extra time.”

Despite their email to families telling their daughters to change elsewhere, the Randolph Union High School has refused to comment on the situation to the press. According to some local media reports, the entire locker room is closed while the situation is under investigation.
During Blake Allen’s comments to the media, she seemed to imply that she herself is under investigation and charged with harassment and bullying by the school, for expressing her opposition to sharing a locker room with a boy.
“I feel like for stating my opinion,” Allen said, “that I don’t want a biological man changing with me, that I should not have harassment charges or bullying charges. They should all be dropped.”
According to reports in Vermont-based left-wing media outlets, the school is indeed investigating the girls who complained about sharing the locker room with a male.
The male’s mother told left-wing VT Digger that local media outlet WCAX 3, which reported on the trans locker room incident and gave a voice to the female members of the girls’ volleyball team, should “be held accountable” for spreading “a wildfire of bigotry and hated.”
She told the publication that she’s contacted the ACLU, as well as multiple gay lobby groups that have played a key role in forcing radical transgender policies on kids in schools.
