Elon Musk Demands Commitment To “Extremely Hardcore” Work From Remaining Twitter Staff

New Twitter owner Elon Musk sent an internal ultimatum to remaining staff at the company Wednesday asking them to respond ‘yes or no’ to promise to commit to “extremely hardcore” work to move the platform forward.

The email, titled “A Fork in the Road,” noted that anyone who doesn’t want to get on board with “working long hours at high intensity” will receive three months severance pay.

“If you are sure that you want to be part of the new Twitter, please click yes on the link below,” Musk wrote, adding a link to a survey form.

The move comes after Musk continued to fire droves of Twitter workers, including some who were slating him behind his back in internal Twitter forums.

Musk has also found himself in a feud with Democratic Senator Ed Markey, who threatened the new Twitter CEO, ordering him to “fix” his company otherwise Congress will do so.

In between all this, Musk found time for a laugh at the expense of late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon who also asked him to “fix” a false rumour on the platform that the comedian has died.
