Video: AOC Accused of Mocking Black Clergymen After Bizarre Rant

US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is being accused of mocking black clergymen after going on a bizarre rant during a Congressional debate on removing Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Ultimately, despite AOC’s apparent religious fervor, Somali-born Rep. Omar was booted from the committee, though not because she was married to her brother and publicly sympathizes with Al-Qaeda, but because Republicans are concerned with her lack of support for Israel.

“Don’t tell me that this is about a condemnation of antisemitic remarks when you have a member of the Republican Caucus who has talked about Jewish space lasers,” AOC said from the House floor while throwing her hands in the air and bouncing her body up and down in a manner similar to the TV caricatures made to mock southern or black Evangelical preachers.

Behind her, fellow far-left Rep. Cori Bush appeared rather amused.

“This is about targeting women of color in the United States of America!” AOC went on.

“Don’t tell me!” she exclaimed. “Because I didn’t get a single apology when my life was threatened.”

At another point in her floor speech, AOC claimed that “as a New Yorker,” she is disturbed that the “legacy” of 9/11 has led to “discrimination” against Muslims in the United States though, as many have pointed out in online comment sections, Islamic migration into the United States increased to record levels only after 9/11, and those American’s who’ve questioned it have quickly been maligned as racists and “Islamaphobes” by people like AOC.

Previously, Ilhan Omar has minimized, and been accused of outright mocking 9/11, dismissing the massive terrorist attack that killed thousands of American citizens as just another time that “some people did something.”

AOC’s “tent revival” speech doesn’t mark the first time she’s been accused of adopting the mannerisms of a black preacher man out of political expedience.

Previously, at a convention of Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, Rep. AOC was accused of invoking the “preacher twang” of a “black southern Baptist,” as she adopted her own version of African American Vernacular English to tell the crowd how proud she is of being a bartender.

“Ain’t nothing wrong with that,” AOC remarked in her makeshift “preacher twang.”
