Navy SEAL veteran Eddie Gallagher released a video statement blowing the whistle on the treachery of Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw, himself a former Navy SEAL. Gallagher says that when he was charged with phony war crimes for killing an ISIS fighter in a war zone, he reached out to Crenshaw for help, and Crenshaw not only refused to help him but actively worked against him. Crenshaw was “trying to kill me,” Gallagher says.
Navy SEAL veteran Eddie Gallagher was charged with ten war crime offenses, including murder, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice in 2018, after he was accused of fatally stabbing an ISIS fighter while in a war zone in Iraq. The issue garnered much political commentary and activism, with patriots, including President Trump, rallying around Gallagher.
Though Gallagher was eventually found not guilty after prosecutors failed to get any of his fellow SEALs to go along with their claims at trial, Gallagher said in a recent video statement that at least one well-known Navy SEAL, Congressman Dan Crenshaw, was actively working against him, to get him thrown in prison for the rest of his life.
“I was pulled aside by multiple congressmen and was told that Dan Crenshaw was actively working against me behind the scenes,” Gallagher explained. “He was going up to each of those congressmen who were supporting me, telling them not to support me, that I was guilty, and that it was his [SEAL] community and they needed to butt out and let him handle it.”
“Knowing full well the truth, about what was really going on, [Crenshaw] still went and tried to get people not to support me and pretty much try to put me away for life without parole,” said Gallagher. “The way I look at that is Dan was trying to kill me.”
Additionally, Gallagher has logs chronicling his brother’s many attempts to get Crenshaw’s support for Eddie’s case. Each time, Crenshaw refused to help his fellow SEAL veteran.
Gallagher isn’t the only Navy SEAL who has problems with Dan Crenshaw, who is being exposed as a habitual liar and, as Paul Harrell of National File Tonight put it in a recent broadcast, evidently “has some sort of animosity towards fellow Navy SEALs.”
David Goggins, a former Navy SEAL who now works as a nationally-recognized fitness guru, is also at odds with Crenshaw, not only after the Texas Congressman falsely claimed to Goggins that he tried to help get Eddie Gallagher out of prison, but Crenshaw publicly accused Goggins of having never deployed as a SEAL. This claim is completely false, and Goggins deployed with the SEALs multiple times.
“This man can’t stop lying,” says Gallagher. “He’ll say whatever it takes to get people on his side and then do the opposite behind the scenes. This has been a repeating pattern of his since he’s been in office.”
