Raw Video: Black Criminal Shot Dead Attacking Fairfax County Cop to Steal his Gun

Last Updated on May 12, 2023

Raw video footage has emerged from Fairfax County, Virginia showing a black criminal attacking a police officer and attempting to steal his gun before a life-or-death struggle ensued, causing the officer’s SUV to drive in reverse and slam into a nearby McDonald’s. After the crash, the officer continued fighting for his life and the criminal was shot dead.

Bystander-recorded video footage of the Thursday shooting emerged online immediately after the shooting and shows a Fairfax County police officer in a violent struggle with a black criminal, who’d attacked him in his vehicle and fought him for his gun.

In the video, as the officer struggles with the now-dead criminal, his police SUV shifts into reverse and takes off towards a nearby McDonald’s, slamming into the drive-through and a parked car after dragging the officer and the criminal with it along the way. After the vehicle reached its stop, the struggle continued and the criminal could be seen throwing punches at the officer, before multiple shots rang out.

Almost immediately after the shots are heard on the video, a group of four officers swarms the scene and pulls the criminal’s lifeless body out of the vehicle, before another shot is heard.

Amazingly, after the life-or-death struggle, the people recording the video remark that “they (the police) just executed that n*gga.”

Speaking with local reporters at the scene, Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said that, as the video footage shows, the “police officer was literally inside his own police car fighting for his life,” which prompted the shooting.

Chief Davis says that the officer who was under attack, while fighting for his life, was making radio transmissions for backup and reporting that the “assailant had his gun.”

According to the chief, backup arrived just as the vehicle slammed into the McDonald’s, and a responding 24-year veteran of the Fairfax County Police Department fired the fatal shots. Immediately afterward, another officer ran up to the vehicle and pulled the assailant off of the besieged officer, shooting him once more.

Additional information has revealed that the now-dead criminal, whose name has not yet been released, was driving a UHaul truck that had been stolen from Richmond, Virginia. The altercation began when the truck was spotted at a Citgo gas station, which is adjacent to the McDonald’s shown in the video.

When the officer approached the criminal in the stolen UHaul, he was attacked and the criminal shoved him into his own vehicle, jumped on top of him, and took his gun, for which the violent, caught-on-camera struggle ensued.

The criminal was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.
