Major League Baseball removed its gay pride profile picture on social media less than 24 hours after debuting it, amidst a major league backlash from fans and players alike who are pushing back against hyper-sexualized Marxist attacks on the sport. The backlash grew so severe, that Major League Baseball barred social media users from commenting on the photo on multiple platforms.
Major League Baseball changed its profile picture on June 1st on multiple social media platforms to a bastardized version of the league’s logo, which shows a batter preparing to hit a pitch and is cast in a red, white, and blue color scheme. Under the “pride month” version of the MLB logo, the batter and ball are retained, but the red, white, and blue are changed to a gay pride flag striped rainbow color scheme, complete with stripes representing transgenderism and Black Lives Matter.
Within 24 hours, the profile picture was changed back to the original logo, as MLB faced massive backlash from its fans.
In addition to the quickly changed profile picture, Major League Baseball posted a similar image on both Facebook and Twitter, before receiving a barrage of negative comments calling the league out for embracing radical LGBTism. In response to the backlash, MLB shut off comments on the photo on both Facebook and Twitter, as shown in the screenshot below.
The gay pride profile picture saga of Major League Baseball comes as the league struggles to appease both its fans and corporate sponsors in the month of June, which has become an annual season of aggressive LGBT propaganda.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, in particular, have faced massive backlash after inviting the anti-Christian “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”, a drag performance group that mocks Catholic nuns, priests, and Jesus Christ, to perform at the team’s “pride night” later this month.
While players in other professional sports leagues have seemingly kept their mouths shut and accepted the perversion of sports, a number of professional baseball players have fought back.
As National File recently reported:
Major League Baseball player Trevor Williams is standing up and speaking out against the radically anti-Christian LGBT’ers attempting to insert themselves into the sport after the Los Angeles Dodgers un-invited then re-invited the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”, an anti-Catholic drag performance group, to a “pride night” the team is hosting later this month. Of all major professional sports, baseball has put up the most resistance to Marxist infiltration, but the intensity of Marxist attacks on the sport has picked up since Nike became one of Major League Baseball’s largest corporate sponsors, landing the exclusive rights to supply MLB with its uniforms and footwear.
