Challenger to RNC Counsel: ‘The NC GOP is a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the RNC’

Grassroots North Carolinian John Kane, who’s challenging RNC “hack” Michael Whatley to be the Chairman of the North Carolina GOP, says that the state’s Republican Party is a “wholly owned subsidiary of the RNC”, thanks to Whatley’s embrace of the DC-based GOP establishment and his staunch support of Ronna Romney, who’s pumped more money into the state’s GOP than North Carolinians have themselves, all while managing to lose seats in Congress to Democrats.

North Carolina GOP Chairman challenger John Kane told Stew Peters in a recent interview that under Whatley’s watch, the North Carolina GOP has been completely sold off to the globalist swamp creatures sitting atop the RNC, who allowed the 2020 Presidential Election to be stolen from the American People.

Under Whatley’s supposed leadership, the North Carolina GOP has been turned into a “wholly owned subsidiary of the RNC,” Kane told Peters.

Whatley, who in addition to being the Chairman of the NC GOP, was appointed as General Counsel of the RNC by Ronna Romney McDaniel, is so closely linked to the GOP establishment, that he was given the post of General Counsel despite not even having a law license at the time of his appointment, rendering him useless in fighting election fraud and left-wing lawfare.

As National File reported:

Though Whatley and the RNC claim that he is an “accomplished lawyer,” he had no law license from January 27th, 2017, until May 23rd, 2023, when he was re-instated to the North Carolina Bar, months after he was hired as the RNC’s General Counsel. According to the results of a search, Whatley has NEVER been registered with the Bar in Washington, D.C., where the RNC is headquartered.

The February 2023 hiring of Whatley as General Counsel came after he failed to be elected RNC co-Chair, finishing in a distant last place. This was after he’d spent years flooding North Carolina with RNC money and RNC-approved candidates, having served as the Chairman of the North Carolina GOP since 2019.

Whatley staunchly supported the re-election of RNC Chair Ronna Romney, and Romney has pumped millions of dollars into the NC GOP under Whatley’s watch, even outspending North Carolinians themselves.
