UNABOM Task Force Head Reveals Merrick Garland Wanted Unabomber Released from Custody

Last Updated on June 13, 2023

A former UNABOM Task Force head revealed during an exclusive live interview with Brannon Howse that Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland wanted Ted Kaczynski, better known as the Unabomber, released from federal custody after he was apprehended by authorities. Garland’s desire to release an actual terrorist stands in stark contrast to his policy of sending federal law enforcement after parents who speak up for the sake of their children at their local school board meetings and of holding American Patriots in brutal prison conditions.

Nationally broadcast news host Brannon Howse hosted Former Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI, Terry Turchie, who served as the head of the UNABOM Task Force, on his Brannon Howse Live program for an exclusive interview following the recent death of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, the man who spent 18 years using the postal service to send bombs to American executives, universities, and airlines. and penned a lengthy manifesto on how he believed that mankind was destroying the planet.

Turchie, who served as head of the UNABOM Task Force from 1994 to 1998, was running the investigation when Kaczynski was captured by federal authorities at his remote Montana cabin in 1996, but the operation to capture the Unibomber almost never happened, as Turchie explained that Garland, then an Assistant US Attorney, and his team of federal lawyers were opposed to even having a warrant issued for Kaczynski’s arrest. The opposition from Garland and his men came despite the mountain of evidence that the task force had compiled, linking Kaczynski to the Unabomber attacks.

Turchie also revealed in the exclusive interview with Brannan Howse that now-Attorney General Merrick Garland sought to have Kaczynski released from federal custody after his arrest and demonstrated a lack of trust in federal law enforcement that jeopardized the entire investigation into Ted Kaczynski.

Ultimately, Turchie and his team of investigators were right, and Kaczynski was convicted of 10 counts of transportation, mailing, and use of bombs and 3 counts of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to 8 consecutive life terms in prison, where he was held until his death on June 10th, 2023.
