Massachusetts Middle Schoolers Revolt Against Groomers, ‘My Pronouns Are USA’

A group of middle schoolers revolted against the public school groomers in charge of their Burlington, Massachusetts school district, pulling down LGBT pride posters, ditching rainbow flag stickers, and chanting “My pronouns are USA.”

Children were told to wear rainbow colors to Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington, Massachusetts to mark the start of “pride month”, but many of the students had something else in mind. Instead of groveling to groomers, they rose up against the blatant sexualization of their learning environment, pulling down rainbow-colored gay pride insignia and leading chants of “My pronouns are USA.”

Ditching the rainbow color scheme they were instructed to show up to school in, the kids instead opted to wear red, white, and blue.

The protest has caused left-wing students and adults alike to enter meltdown mode. The school district released a lengthy statement claiming that “our school community experienced intolerance” in the form of children refusing to partake in a sexualized activity that violates the freely-held religious beliefs of many of them while comparing the protest to a form of “anti LGBTQ+ violence”.

“We ask all staff, teachers, and members of the Burlington Public School community to join us in taking a stand against homophobia and identity-directed hateful actions,” the statement went on to say, before announcing that it will begin a program of re-education among students while pressuring parents to toe the line at home.

“We also recognize that it is not enough to publicly denounce these incidents as they happen. As a school system we have a unique opportunity to educate our community on the nature of these events. The work we do in the Burlington Public Schools and at MSMS is not easy. It often leads to difficult and uncomfortable conversations. Nevertheless, we encourage you to discuss differences with your families to try and make sense of how one’s actions always impact others.”

The protest has even spawned mass meetings of town and school district officials, who are calling for more funding and energy to be dumped into the district’s “Diversity Equity and Inclusion” (DEI) initiative.
