Police are engaged in an armed standoff with a shotgun-wielding man who is pacing around the entrance to the united nations headquarters building in midtown Manhattan in New York City, New York. Video footage appears to show the man tightly grasping a shotgun to his body during the standoff.
As of press time, the police response unit has been unable to convince the man to drop the weapon, and the person’s intentions and motivations are not yet immediately clear.
