TIME Magazine Person of the Year Elon Musk fired back on Twitter at left-wing MSNBC host Joy Reid after she launched into an emotionally charged rant over the tech billionaire’s criticism of unpopular Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
“So for so many reasons, being a freeloader, and a selfish and disrespectful one, and for misappropriating black vernacular for misogynistic purposes, Elon Musk is the absolute worst,” Reid seethed on her MSNBC show “The Reidout.”
Several users pointed out the irony of the fact that while no explanation or evidence exists for Musk “misappropriating black vernacular,” Sen. Warren has been credibly accused of appropriating native culture by claiming that she has native ancestry because one of her ancestors had “high cheekbones.”
Musk shot back via Twitter on Thursday, “(Lack of) Joy Reid is a lobbyist for Sen Karen.”

As National File previously reported, Musk branded Warren as “Senator Karen” in a viral exchange this week after she expressed displeasure with TIME Magazine naming him Person of the Year:
“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” Warren wrote on Tuesday, accompanied by a Boston Globe article announcing that Musk had been named “Person of the Year.”
“Stop projecting!” Musk shot back, attaching an article exposing Warren’s “high cheekbones” native ancestry hoax with a headline titled “Elizabeth Warren is a fraud — Her lies about being Native American disqualify her from presidency, Senate.”
“Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Kare,” Musk quipped. “Karen” refers to an internet stereotype of a loud and annoying middle-aged or older woman who constantly complains about the actions of other people, and demands to “speak to the manager.”
