Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good (VA-5) joined the nationally-syndicated Stew Peters Show and vowed never to vote for Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House, telling the host that the GOP establishment leader will be defeated on the House floor during January 3rd’s speakership vote if he doesn’t step aside first, for the good of the country.
Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good has been among those legislators leading the charge against establishment leader Kevin McCarthy’s speakership campaign, forging serious and continued opposition with other House conservatives, who vow that CCP-tied, FTX-funded McCarthy will NEVER be Speaker of the House.
During his appearance on the Stew Peters Show, a program that’s become a top destination for America First legislators who want to speak directly to the American People, Good doubled down on his opposition to Kevin McCarthy’s speakership campaign and said he’s confident that his conservative colleagues will stand tall alongside him on January 3rd.
“I have told my colleagues, the 20 or so who are part of this movement, we will remember what we do on January 3rd and beyond for the rest of our lives,” Rep. Good told Stew Peters.
“We must meet the moment. We must rise to the occasion to try to bring transformational change, to defeat the swamp cartel, the uni-party, by doing what hasn’t been done for 100 years where we deny the next in line, majority leader, minority leader, what have you, the vote for Speaker on the House floor, and we take down that supposed favorite for that position to bring true transformational change,” the Freedom Caucus Rep. from Virginia went on.
“We will remember for the rest of our lives that we stood strong and struck a blow against the uni-party, the swamp cartel,” said Rep. Good.
If not, “we caved and we faltered and the country will suffer for it for decades to come, if not into perpetuity. So absolutely it’s critical and we’re not going to falter, we’re going to hold the line, we are gonna deny [Kevin McCarthy] from becoming the speaker, we’re going to get a better speaker, someone who will work with us to save the Republic and change how Congress works.”
“I can tell you, I will not vote for him,” Rep. Good vowed on the air, predicting that McCarthy will be denied the gavel and forced to make way for a suitable leader on January 3rd.
