Stew Peters Show: Ron DeSantis Guts Free Speech With ‘Hate Speech’ Legislation he Signed in Israel

Last Updated on May 3, 2023

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, on foreign soil and surrounded by foreign nationals, signed new legislation backed by uni-party politicians and the ADL to crack down on the First Amendment rights of American citizens, making it illegal and a “hate crime” in his state to utter speech considered antisemitic or discriminatory.

Nationally-syndicated TV news host Stew Peters covered DeSantis’ signing of the anti-speech hate crime legislation, for which DeSantis traveled to Israel, signing the bill that was unanimously passed by both parties in the foreign nation’s capital city of Jerusalem.

The trip underscored the bill’s anti-speech banning of “antisemitism,” and reaffirmed why it was drafted in the first place – to stop the distribution of leaflets blaming Jewish politicians for the open-borders immigration policies making White Americans a minority, and Black Americas a super-minority.

“Ron DeSantis flew to the capital of a foreign country and signed a bill nullifying one of our core constitutional rights,” Stew Peters said in covering the signing of the Israel-based legislation on his Stew Peters Show news program, which now airs in the legendary 8 PM time slot.

“The bill in question is HB 269,” Peters went on. “Which indefensibly passed unanimously through the Florida legislature, which is great proof that elected Republicans are completely useless unless you’re constantly monitoring them. Even then, they’re cowards.”

“HB 269 makes it a felony offense in Florida to harass or intimidate someone based on their religion or ethnicity,” explained Peters. “According to the very people who wrote the bill, this bill would include handing out leaflets or fliers that someone decides are offensive hate speech.”

“This bill supposedly applies to all religions and ethnicities,” Peters went on. “But of course, everybody knows, nobody’s ever going to get prosecuted in any blue city for attacking white people like they do all the time. But you can bet your ass they’ll find lots of ways to use it against us.”

“For example,” Peters went on, skewering the DeSantis-signed legislation, “criticize immigration; that’s felony harassment of Hispanics. Criticize violent, gun-toting criminals; that’s felony harassment of Black Americans. Criticize American foreign policy; they’ll say that’s felony antisemitism,” said Peters.

“In fact, that’s literally what prompted the bill to be passed. In March, someone distributed fliers in West Palm Beach claiming a link between Jewish people and mass migration into the United States.”
